We understand that your travel plans may change at the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With our Book with Confidence Guarantee, we offer flexible booking options to give you peace of mind when you book directly with us.

With our flexible date change policy, there’s no need to cancel your holiday in Sri Lanka, just reschedule it instead. We will permit date changes on the following basis:
- 48 hours prior to arrival We will waive any date change fee
- 48 to 24 hours prior to arrival A recovery fee 10% against the total value of your booking
- Within 24 hours prior to arrival A recovery fee of 50% against the total value of your booking

Flexible Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your stay with us, we offer refunds on the following basis:
- 48 hours prior to arrival We will waive any cancellation fee with a full refund
- 48 to 24 hours prior to arrival A refund subject to recovering 10% of the total value of your booking
- Within 24 hours prior to arrival a refund subject to recovering 50% of the total value of your booking
All refunds will be processed and returned within 21 working days.

Our Price Match
Book online directly with us and if within the next 24 hours of making a booking you find a lower, immediate bookable rate on the internet, with the same reservation condition (room category, dates, number of people staying, restrictions, terms and conditions) we will match the rate plus extend a further 10% discount.

Good to Know
Arrival time is based on a check-in time of 1pm (Sri Lanka Standard Time) on the day of your arrival to one of Taru Villas properties.
Our book with Confidence Guarantee is only valid for bookings made directly with Taru Villas.
Our standard cancellation and date change policies applies for stays beyond 30th November 2021.
Rescheduled bookings must be started on or before 30th November 2021.
How to Make a Price Match Claim
To proceed with the claim please send us the following information:
- Guest name
- Reservation confirmation number
- Check In/check out date
- Website URL where you found the lower rate
- A screenshot featuring the date and time at which you found lower rate. The screenshot must show the dates of travel, room type, rate and inclusions.

Price Match Terms and Conditions
Best Rate Guarantee applies to rates and reservations made online only.
Reservation must be made directly through the hotel website prior to making a claim.
Claims will only be accepted within 24 hours after reservation is made.
No claims will be accepted for arrivals within 72 hours (3 days) of claim.
Taru Villas will review the claim and inform you of our decision within 48 hours.
Taru Villas will extend a further 10% discount on the booked rate once your claim is confirmed. Discount will be applied to your reservation prior to arrival and reconfirmed.
Taru Villas Best Rate Guarantee applies to rates booked for the period of the stay, excluding any other charges such as government tax, service charges, food and beverages and any other charges that you may incur during your stay.
The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to:
- Websites that package room nights with any other components such as tours, flights, transfers, etc.
- Auction sites
- Private members sites
- Closed user group offers
Applicable against bookable rates for the same length of stay, dates of reservations, room category, number of persons, currency and other reservation conditions.
