Our Readiness to Welcome you Back in 2021

When it comes to the health and safety of our guests and staff, we do not leave anything to chance. In response to Covid-19, we introduced the ‘Safe Hands Pledge’ in spring last year. This pledge is our our comprehensive and constantly evolving strategy to implement stringent safety, hygiene and cleaning protocols across all aspects of our operations. These protocols have met and exceed requirements from both the Sri Lankan authorities as well as the World Health Organisation.

As of 23 January 2021, Sri Lanka has re-opened for international tourists and we are now putting in to place the final component of our Safe Hands Pledge to welcome back guests from across the globe. This includes gaining accreditation from a respected UK consultant specialising in travel safety for Covid-19 compliance. Gaining this accreditation will instil the fullest confidence with our guests and partners who are planning a luxury holiday in Sri Lanka with Taru Villas.

As part of this accreditation process, Dr. Changa Kurukularatne, an infectious disease specialist, visited our properties to host engaging workshop and provide the teams with valuable knowledge and insights.
