At Taru Villas, sustainability is an important part of how we operate, engage with our team and guests, and manage our environmental and social impacts.
During FY 2025–2026, we continued to strengthen our sustainability practices across our properties, building on the initiatives undertaken during the previous year. Our focus has included employee engagement, responsible waste management, sustainable procurement, resource efficiency, guest awareness, community engagement, safety, and accessibility.
A significant milestone in our sustainability journey was achieving Travelife Certification in 2025. This achievement reflects Taru Villas – The Long House’s commitment to responsible and sustainable hospitality practices and demonstrates the establishment of structured approaches for environmental management, social responsibility, responsible procurement, guest engagement, and continuous improvement.
The Travelife certification journey strengthened our internal sustainability systems, encouraged greater employee participation, and helped embed sustainability considerations into our everyday operations.
