For the most part of the year, Bentota experiences typical tropical weather with temperatures reaching as high as 32°C and humidity as high as 80%. On average though, the city experiences a temperature of around 29°C with relatively high humidity during the peak season, which generally lasts from January to March. The low rainfall during the season makes it perfect to explore Bentota. Be sure to carry sunscreen and a sunhat to protect your skin!
