The Cathedral

The Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour is located in Cinnamon Gardens and was the first Anglican cathedral in the city. Beautifully designed using traditional Sri Lankan architectural elements like the hexagonal shape of a Buddhist temple, it allows for natural light to seep through the interiors, which are adorned with intricate artwork. The sacred premises that provide a sense of calm and tranquillity amidst the hustle and bustle are one of the most favoured attractions to visit when you’re in Colombo.
